Dee Harrell
Dee, often hailed as a “renaissance woman,” prefers the monikers of “multipotentialite” or “passionately diverse” to capture her myriad interests and talents.
With over two decades of experience spanning film production, advertising, education, and healthcare
in Omaha, Dee embodies versatility and creativity. Beyond her professional pursuits, she thrives as an athlete, mixed media artist, poet, and writer, with her debut book set for release later this year.
As a Canadian-Filipino transplant and a neurodiverse individual, Dee champions
diversity and representation. She eloquently analogizes, stating, “it is the construction and context of the box, as well as the contents inside it with all its moving parts and not simply the wrapping paper that sets our gifts apart.” Omaha’s vibrant energy and cultural evolution have made it home for Dee and her two children, who have now established homes of their own.
While residing in Papillion with her boyfriend and his daughter, Dee finds solace and inspiration through daily walks around the Old Market, which she
considers essential for recharging.
