Senior Vice President
Chris Gorman grew up in North Platte—or what he calls the “west coast of Nebraska.” He studied Organizational Communication with an emphasis in Marketing at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, graduating in 2005.
Before joining Hurrdat, Chris was a Tour Manager for three bands on a nationwide tour and later worked for a student loan company. Following his passion for marketing, Chris started looking at career change. He’d heard great things about Hurrdat, and a good friend introduced him to one of Hurrdat’s founders, Blake Lawrence.
Chris started with the Hurrdat team in 2015 as an Account Executive, where he pitched digital marketing services to clients and managed client relationships. In his current role as Senior Vice President, Chris currently focuses on building out a podcasting network through Hurrdat Media, a sports media organization through Hurrdat Sports/Hail Varsity and an elevated sports bar/live event venue, Hail Varsity Club.
While at Hurrdat, Chris has worked on several incredible projects and partnerships—including Maha Festival, PGA Korn Ferry Tour Pinnacle Bank Championship, Omaha Summer Arts Festival, UFC Fight Pass/Victory Fighting Championship, Union Omaha and Omaha Storm Chasers—all of which he’s enjoyed for the unique opportunities they’ve provided.
“I get to do cool stuff with cool people every day,” Chris says. “Our connection with clients rarely feels like a client-vendor relationship. I truly feel like I’m part of whatever project we’re working on and want to deliver the best possible outcome.”
