Cara Kirsch
Cara Kirsch is founder and CEO of The Kirsch Group, based in Omaha, Neb. A seasoned employee-benefits broker, Kirsch has spent over three decades in employee benefits with 15 of that advising mid-sized and large employers on health-plan strategy, self-funding models, and cost-containment through care-navigation and data analytics. Committed to bringing fresh perspective and leadership, Kirsch founded The Kirsch Group to serve employers seeking partner-driven benefits advice, radical transparency, and modern plan design.
Cara is an enthusiastic advocate for female leaders. In 2018, she founded the annual Ignite Women in Insurance Conference which has reached hundreds of women to date and, by popular demand was rebranded in 2023 to include Women in Business. She is also the founder and host of the Ignite podcast.
In addition to her professional work, Cara is a dedicated daughter, sister and mother to three grown children. She is also a Grandma (called CiCi) and loves spending time with her grandson. Finally, Cara is a lover of the 4 legged type and her dog Oliver is a big part of her happiness.
