Jessie Gutierrez
Hi, I’m Jessie Gutierrez. I am a mental health therapist and fellow Omaha mom of two. Doing my best to navigate the beautiful chaos of motherhood while balancing work, friendships, home life, and trying to maintain a sense of self. I am all about embracing that sweet spot between messy and organized. I swear occasionally and am known for bringing a lot of heart and humor to conversations. I’m passionate about mental health and helping women find meaningful connections and build strong support systems.
Professionally, I’m a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I’ve worked in acute inpatient settings with children and adolescents with severe trauma and self-harm behaviors, in the hospital as medical social worker, supporting youth in foster care, as crisis counselor supporting parents, and within the public school system. In 2018, I started my own mental health private practice with a 6-month-old baby and desire to create my own work-life-balance. My private practice has a focus on supporting women with issues related to anxiety, life transitions, childhood wounds, and perinatal mental health. I’m a trained EMDR and parts work therapist and also integrate a lot of somatic work. While running my private practice for the past 6 years, I’ve been lucky enough to support women of all ages and stages on their healing journey. I love the work that I do and feel truly inspired by the growth and resilience of my clients.
